Hemerocallis ‘Charles Johnston’ is a fragrant early midseason Daylily that produces a profusion of huge, delicately ruffled and rounded, rich cherry-red blooms with eye-catching lemon-yellow throats. Each bloom lasts around 24 hours, emerging in the morning and withering at night before being replaced by another on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day (thus the common name ‘Daylily’).
